Responding to PR Nightmares

It happens quickly.  A case you're preparing or trying goes viral.  Or a client makes a mis-step, is called out in the media, and suddenly other alleged victims are coming out of the woodwork. You leave your office and are greeted by a sea of microphones and cameras.  Social media lights up with opinions and facts about your client or the case – some accurate, many more wildly inaccurate.  Sure, you know the law.  And you know how to try a case in court.  But what tools do you need, what assistance is available, what strategies do you employ when you and your client find yourselves in the court of public opinion?  “Responding to PR Nightmares” is an FDCC webinar you do not want to miss!  Practitioners who’ve guided clients through PR minefields will share their experience and recommendations, including (1) what lawyers need to have in their toolkits before trouble erupts; (2) first responders – what to do (and not do) in the first 24 hours after a PR crisis hits; (3) how to navigate through a crisis once the first response has been set, and when to change course and when to stay the course; and (4) addressing post-crisis issues.
