Foundation Fellow Program

The Foundation Fellow Program was established in 2003 in order to reconize those members who went a step beyond the usual contribution to support the Foundation. Various levels of additional giving are provided. Those levels are open to all members. Members who have already made contributions to the Foundation Fellows' Program will receive credit towards the next level. That credit accumulates to permit and encourage members to continue their giving as they progress through the levels of recognition. The levels are:

1. A member may become a Foundation Fellow by contributing or pledging $1,000, which may be paid over a four year period. The member's designation as a Foundation Fellow will be noted in his or her listing in the Federation Roster, the Annual Report of the Foundation, and on the Federation website.

2. A member who is Foundation Fellow may become a Sustaining Foundation Fellow (SFF) by contributing or pledging an additional $1,000 to be paid over two years. A member, who is not a Foundation Fellow, but wishes to become a Sustaining Foundation Fellow may do so by contributing or pledging $2,000 to be paid over two years. The member's designation as Sustaining Foundation Fellow will be noted in his or her listing in the Federation Roster, the Annual Report of the Foundation, and on the Federation website. A sterling silver pin indicating the member's status as a Sustaining Foundation Fellow will be sent to him or her.

3. A member who is a Foundation Fellow may become a Endowing Foundation Fellow (EFF) by contributing of pledging an additonal $2,500 to be paid over three years. A Sustaining Foundation Fellow may become an Endowing Foundation Fellow by contributing or pledging $1,500 to be paid over three years. A member who is not a Foundation Fellow, but wishes to become an Endowing Foundation Fellow, may do so by contributing or pledging $3,500 to be paid over three years. The member's designation as Endowing Foundation Fellow will be noted in his or her listing in the Federation Roster, the Annual Report of the Foundation, and on the Federation website. A gold pin indicating the member's status as a Endowing Foundation Fellow will be sent to him or her.

4. For those members who wish to do more, the Board has established the Philanthropic Foundation Fellow (PFF) status. A member who is a Foundation Fellow may become a Philanthropic Foundation Fellow by contributing or pledging an additonal $5,000 to be paid over four years.  A Sustaining Foundation Fellow may become an Philanthropic Foundation Fellow by contributing or pledging $4,000 to be paid over four years. A Endowing Foundation Fellow may become a Philanthropic Foundation Fellow by contributing or pledging and additonal $2,500 to be paid over four years. A member who is not a Foundation Fellow, buy wishes to become an Philanthropic Foundation Fellow, may do so by contributing or pledging $6,000 to be paid over three years. The member's designation as Philanthropic Foundation Fellow will be noted in his or her listing in the Federation Roster, the Annual Report of the Foundation, and on the Federation website. A gold pin with a precious stone indicating the member's status as a Philanthropic  Foundation Fellow will be sent to him or her.

No matter which level of contribution is paid or pledged, Fellows are entitled to the designation at their highest level and may continue at that level and be designated as such in the Federation Roster, the Annual Report of the Foundation, and the FDCC website. Any other contributions by a member may not be used as part of the Fellows' program, but all Fellows and members are encouraged to continue making annual contributions as may be appropriate or as suggested, i.e., one hour of billable time per year.
