MANAGEMENT, ECONOMICS, E-COMMERCE, AND TECHNOLOGY SECTION (MEET)
The Management, Economics, E-Commerce, and Technology Section has members who have an interest in the business side of the practice of law. Our section includes lawyers who participate in firm management as a member of the management team or as a practice group chair; who act as the firm's general counsel, CEO or managing partner; or who simply have an abiding interest in the issues that confront lawyers as they try to make less difficult and more profitable the practice of our profession.
The management of a firm is a concern of every lawyer whether the firm in which she practices has 1,000 lawyers in 40 states and 12 foreign countries or two folks trying to meet the rent payment every month. Our section provides members with ideas about marketing, technology, billing, responses to requests for proposals, associate recruiting, training and development among many other topics.
