  • Help us Give the Children of Veterans a Book: FDCC Answers the Call
Through its FedServes Committee, the FDCC is inviting its members to buy a book for the holidays for the child of a Veteran currently undergoing treatment or surgery at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Due to the ongoing issues with the pandemic, the Hospital will be sending a Christmas holiday food pantry basket to the homes of the Veterans still in the Hospital for the families to enjoy. We will make sure that all the children in the family have a book to enjoy as a special surprise.

In conjunction with the VA, we have created a wish list of books for the children for you to select from on Amazon's website. Ordering is easy:

    • Click on this link: https://www.amazon.com
    • Select one or as many books as you would like
    • Click Go to Cart to check out
    • When asked where to send the books, click on the option: FDCC FedSERVES c/o Bernie Heinze, 610 Freedom Business Center, Suite 110, King of Prussia, PA 19406

We will then deliver all the books received directly to the Hospital in December so they can be placed into the holiday gift basket. Thank you for helping us with this worthy project in bringing the gift of reading to the children of those who are serving our Country.
